History Of The Zanesville Downtown Association

Since 1995 the Zanesville Downtown Association (ZDA) has been in charge of the revitalization of downtown Zanesville. The four charges for the ZDA are Business Retention, Business Recruitment, Physical Improvement and Public Relations. The ZDA Board of Directors meet quarterly and is composed of individuals who downtown properties and businesses, are part of a downtown retail, service or arts business, are members of the downtown Clergy group or are a business professional that serves entities in the downtown area. There are currently 216 businesses located in the 30.5 square block downtown area.

The mission of the Zanesville Downtown Association is to stimulate economic revitalization in Downtown by encouraging business attraction, retention and expansion through marketing, promotion, and an improved physical environment.
